and it seems a few of you think killzone is better, the game full of 4 colors.......black, grey, brown, touch of red. very similar to gears. all this is an opinion since so many factors influence graphics but as ive stated before, i dont find graphics impressive when they use such a limited color range. it gets boring and repetitive
very few if any, at least not on consoles. uncharted and god of war 3 are prob the only two that can give it a competition as far as i can see. perhaps heavy rain too but thats barely a game.
and dont cite weak games with washed out color palettes either. halo has achieved its graphics using a wide variety of colors as opposed to 2-3
last years was actually pretty great. it wasnt no mercy worthy but was still pretty great. this looks to improve upon everything that did and im pretty confident it will be the best one this gen and the best in years
i think custom guns would be sweet personally. in order to make them you must combine 2-3 guns and then use eridium to pay for combining them. effects would be randomly generated using w/e stats the guns you used to make them had and you could have quality tiers for example......3 guns plus 30 eridium and the gun takes up to 3 abilites ffrom each gun and avergages the damage. 3 guns plus 60 eridium combines for 4 effects, avergages the damage and adds 10%, and 4 guns plus 99 eridium takes 5 e...

lost oddyssey is one of the best games this gen dude. halo 3 is also up there ( reach and odst did blow though ) and halo 4 looks amazing. gears is just okay for me ( 2 was great though ) and others love 1 and 3. so your reasoning is kind of retarded.
MGS is on 360, the new one will be coming to it and the HD collection is already on it. the only one its missing is 4. Resistance are mediocre games, no better, prob slightly worse than gears and certainly not halo.

i think its a bit beyond the publishers. i bought the last one expected a new solid entry and what i got was a pile of steaming feces. still im an optimist and a free demo means i dont have anything to lose except some time so i gave the beta another chance. this time it delivered diarrhea......this franchise is dead or at least needs an entirely new developer
two types of dlc out there, dlc that is cut and/or last about an hour tops
and then there is dlc like borderlands or dark souls which add so much content they easily justify their price.
also when your game is as good as either of those two, give me all the extra content you got and i will happily pay for it all

God of war 3 just wasnt that good in my OPINION. graphics were great but the story was meh, it had no new gameplay elements, the platforming sections paled in comparison to the second one and the overall level design was been there dont that. the boss fights were epics but other than that and the graphics i wasnt impressed by anything else.

w/e if they are good games they can have 200 sequels as far as im concerned. if the quality begins to dip though, then you take a break and come back when you can breathe new life into the franchise.
i didnt care for God of War 3 but im excited for 4. also its only made one true appearance on ps3 this gen anyway so it gets a pass ( hd remakes dont count )

man you are gettin a lot of disagrees lol. i bought the first one after having enjoyed the demo but after a couple hrs i got sick of the same looking areas over and over again. becuase of that i didnt buy the sequel.
that said, this one looks amazing and i will be hopping back into the franchise for it.
haha no, it was one of the few things to come out of that trilogy. course were wonderfully designed and complete with multiple routes, game was blazing fast, upgrading your racer was fun and the difficulty was near perfect until the end lol
the sequel on ps2 wasnt very good though. came out in like 2002 or something, done by rainbow studios. having loved the first so much, it was a major let down
